Retiree Privileges Request Form
The University is pleased to offer our retirees the following privileges. To qualify as a retiree you must be age 65 or older and benefits eligible with a minimum of five years of service.

A St. Thomas retiree ID card is necessary if you use the Library Facilities or the Shuttle Bus Service as described below. After you submit your request, please allow two business days for processing. You may then pick up your St. Thomas retiree ID card at the Card Office, located on the 1st floor of Murray-Herrick.

St. Thomas Library Facilities Access


St. Thomas retirees can request access to university library facilities. Your St. Thomas retiree ID card will allow you to check out books from the university’s collection.

St. Thomas Shuttle Bus Service

St. Thomas retirees can request access to the shuttle bus that operates between the St. Paul and Minneapolis campuses. Use of the shuttle bus is limited to current faculty, staff and students during Fall and Spring semester peak times (Monday through Friday from 8 AM – Noon). 

All riders of the St. Thomas shuttle bus are required to show and swipe a valid St. Thomas ID card to utilize this service.
